Dr Indra Barathan
Mum, wife, businesswoman, doctor and coach.
“Listen to your gut and do what brings you joy”.
Moving from the National Health Service after 17 years as a GP, I started my practice with the goal of offering an alternative way to support patients with chronic health conditions. I love being a supergeneralist and thrive on figuring out the root causes of patients’ symptoms.
I believe in “Who is the patient who is experiencing the disease, not what is the disease the patient is experiencing”.
Recently, I took a week out to sit and do nothing! This has opened my eyes to realising that sometimes in your healing journey, you just need a space to be.
Dr Ailsa Care
Dr Ailsa Care
I qualified from Leeds University in 1989. Following GP training, I have been working as an NHS GP in Huddersfield for over 20 years.
Following some personal health problems, which conventional medicine failed to solve, I sought some medical advice from a practitioner who used a root-cause approach, similar to functional medicine. The resolution of my health issues led me to seek training in this approach. Since then I have completed training with both the Institute of Functional Medicine and the British Society of Ecological Medicine.
When you learn about functional medicine, it makes so much sense to search for the root causes of a patient’s illness. I love having so much more time to spend with patients and to be able to offer a truly holistic, personalised approach.
Dr Natasha Patel
I graduated from Imperial Medical School in 1999 during which time I also completed a BSc(Hons) in Neurosciences. I embarked on a journey exposing me to many different medical specialities - respiratory, intensive care, cardiology, renal, gastroenterology, care of the elderly and finally ended up specialising in diabetes and endocrinology. I became a Consultant in 2008 and haven't looked back! I am currently a Consultant at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital where I lead on the Diabetes Foot service and complex diabetes clinic.
I have extensive experience in general medicine, endocrinology and diabetes as well a keen interest in implementing digital technology, developing guidelines, participating in clinical research and teaching. I enjoy teaching members of the public, allied healthcare professionals as well as doctors in training.
So what has led me to working with the Dr Indra practice? I am fascinated by how science and technology can support each of us to feel the best that we can and how I can personalise medicine for the individual assisting you to take the driving seat in your health journey. I aim to combine my extensive knowledge of medicine with the personalised approach.

Cori Flynn
As a fully qualified nutritional therapist, I strive to empower people to take control of their health and wellbeing by recommending specific food choices that feel realistic and achievable.
Working with the functional medicine model means that we can identify what body systems are under stress and recommend specific foods and nutrients that address the root cause of clients health conditions.
Information around nutrition can be contradictory and overwhelming and so I like to break it down, agree simple goals, and support people to prioritise the most beneficial changes which can be sustained long-term.
I’m a mother of two and fully understand the need for quick, simple, nourishing meals. I love creating and adapting recipes to inspire clients and support them to achieve their health goals.
Nicki Chandraraj
I am a functional medicine health and wellness coach with specific training in positive psychology and lasting lifestyle change. I am here to be your ally and support you on your journey to improved health and happiness.
With a background in science and certification as an advanced personal trainer, I will help you find a comfortable level of movement or exercise that you can regularly enjoy. Using this, in combination with improved nutrition, sleep optimisation and stress-reduction techniques, I intend to help you take back control of your health and lead a more balanced and joyful life.
As a busy professional, juggling my career alongside my roles and responsibilities as a mum, wife, daughter and friend, I completely understand how hectic life can be. There can be tremendous guilt as we consider our own needs and try to make time to look after ourselves. I am here to help you find solutions, and to give you the motivation, encouragement and accountability to achieve your goals!
I love to be out in nature, walking and exploring new gardens, parks and coastlines with my family and friends, bike rides, gym time to unwind, and trying to find time to curl up for a few chapters of a good book with my cat!
I encourage all my patients to consider what gives them joy, then to try and include a little into their life somehow every day!

I offer an integrated approach to Life, Health & Medicines, bringing Eastern and Western practices into a rhythm to inspire one’s full potential.
For over 25 years I worked in Pharmacy and the Development of Services both in the NHS and private sector; the more I treated people with conventional medicine, the more I came to appreciate the reliance on drugs and the slow loss of trust in one’s own ability to heal. For over a decade I have followed my passion to learn how to give this agency back, by using a multidimensional approach aiming to balance physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. I look to tune your inner terrain to the outside world, so you feel empowered to transform your life-health.
Pharmacy is beyond medicines; it is the food we consume, the stimuli to our nervous system, the air we breathe, the movement of our bodies and our sleep rhythms. Each element affects us at a molecular and pharmacological level which is inherently different for each of us.
I graduated in 1996 in Pharmacy with First-Class Honours from King’s College London, followed by post-graduate research in Molecular Medicine, University College London. I learned to look beyond the drug and its target molecule to understand the underlying energetics and their profound impact on our response to life. We have the power to decide how these integrate to colour our life; we are the canvas and the painter too. Together we can paint the future of your life using science artistically with intuitive guidance.
Embracing ancient medicine, philosophy, and creativity, I delved into Ayurveda, the mother of modern Functional Medicine, completing the Diploma for Ayurveda Healthcare, and integrating the time-tested approaches with clinical expertise in the current health paradigm. My skills evolve daily, seeing not only patients receiving standard of care treatment, but those that wish to understand the Ayurvedic secrets for longevity.
My intention is to let Eastern sciences support and uphold the way we treat and manage health in the West: the combined effort is the powerful key to positive long-term outcomes.
As an Integrative Pharmacist & Ayurvedic Practitioner, I prescribe individual personalised wellness journeys, that may include life coaching, self-care practices, cleansing techniques, massage therapy, Ayurevdic nutrition and circadian rhythm balance, in addition to medicine and herb optimisation. I also welcome those that wish to explore spirituality in health.
"Once you start the journey you will change the way you perceive and live your life, deeply influencing your physical, mental and emotional health.
"Bobby was considerate, appropriate, and always responsive to my health needs. He gives extremely helpful insights and explanations. He really takes the time to understand how you feel and his approach is absolutely holistic.
